Quanah, Texas
It’s all happening here at OBS time!
Restored and reimagined, the Old Bank Saloon brings the rich history of the Old West and the warmth of small-town Texas charm into a unique rustic restaurant ready to share it’s story with locals, travelers, hunters, and those passing through town. The OBS building was originally used as a bank from 1900’s until 1957. The 1900’s era bar in the saloon was originally located at the Brass Rail Saloon in Frederick, Oklahoma, once part of the Oklahoma Territory. It is rumored that visitors with the likes of Teddy Roosevelt, Quanah Parker, and Burk Burnett had visited this Saloon, which only adds to the nostalgic atmosphere where the past and the present meet to belly up to the bar for a cold one!
Located a few blocks North of Highway 287 on Highway 6 ( Main Street ), the Old Bank Saloon is a hidden gem that serves up the coldest draft beer around, delicious home-cooked food, friendly hospitality, LIVE entertainment, and outdoor patio seating. If you are looking to join us for an evening, add to your experience by staying in town at one of the beautiful and charming restored historic buildings now serving as AirBNB’s on the corner across from OBS.
So, ya’ll come by and see us! It’s worth the quick detour!
